Once the client fills the form thanks to "Contact me", the guide and the client agree on a service, a date and a price.
It is the client's duty to inform the guide about the nature of the group (age, profile, language spoken, country of origin, number of pax), the meeting point and the mode of payment as soon as possible to the best of their ability.
The guide will provide the client with a detailed quote. The quote may be accepted by the client either by scan mentionning "signed and agreed" or simply by email.
In the event the service requires immediate payment of tickets, entrances, equipment rental or reservations of transports separate from and in addition to the service's price, the client agrees to pay a deposit equivalent to these charges to the guide before the start of the service.
The guide may never be held responsible for non-availibility of groups slots at museums and monuments, for strikes, transportation interruptions, bad weather conditions, or any other cause external to the guide's control and leading to the cancellation of the tour. The liability of the guide on what grounds whatsoever shall be limited to the invoiced value of the service.
The client may cancel the service in writing without charge 7 days prior to the scheduled date. If the client cancel in the 6 days before the start of the tour, the service is due full price.
The guide may cancel the service at any time in case of force majeure : illness, family death, serious accident. To the best of their ability, the guide shall provide the client with a suitable replacement.
After the service, the guide shall provide the client with an invoice.
Payment of the invoice can be made in cash, check or bank transfer to the client's convenience, on the day of the tour or up to one month after if by bank transfer. After one month, the guide may invoice extra fees for delayed payment. In case of payment by check or bank transfer, all forex and banking fees will be billed to the client.
All documents, quotes, invoices and working agreements, abide under French law jurisdiction.
